Lindsay Lohan: Natasha Richardson "Treated Me Like Her Own"

It may have been a decade since they graced the big screen together, but on the evening of Natasha Richardson's death, Lindsay Lohan remembers the actress who played her mother in the breakthrough role of her career.
"She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own," Lohan said in a statement. "I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her."
"My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss," she continued.

Richardson played Lohan's British mother in the family comedy The Parent Trap. She seems to have a knack for working with children. Earlier, Nick Moore , who directed her in her last film Wild Child, told RadarOnline.com that Richardson helped the young actors navigate through making the film: "All the kids in the movie loved being around her."
