Fierce First Lady Fashion: CFDA to Honor Michelle Obama

The Council Of Fashion Designers of America announced Monday that they will honor our First Lady of style at their annual awards gala in June. Throughout her history marking journey to become the first African American First Lady, Michelle Obama has time and again gained admiration from the design community for her impeccable taste.

Prior to the Obama’s moving into the White House, the image guru behind Halle Berry‘s star style, Phillip Bloch, nicknamed Michelle “Blackie-O,” implying that not only should she be the next first lady, but he predicted her to be the next fashion icon she has become today.

For her natural fabulosity and national trend-setting, we too honor Michelle Obama.

She is on our fashion Radar!
