Why Gwyneth Loves Madonna

Take homebody mom Gwyneth Paltrow and the ever controversial Madonna. They're best pals, and in a new interview with OK!, Gwyn explains why.

"She's been through everything. And she's a real survivor," the Oscar winner said at a charity event in Los Angeles Wednesday night. "Every problem that I've had, she's had ten problems worse that dwarf my problems."

The two stars have been close buds for a decade, with Paltrow publicly supporting Madonna through her divorce from Guy Ritchie, and rumors of her romance with then-married baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

"She's a very interested, caring woman," Gwyneth said. "She's pretty great. She's Madonna and she comes with all this stuff but she's pretty incredible."
