An ex-girlfriend of suspected killer John McAfee -- the anti-virus software guru who started McAfee Associates in 1989 -- says the 67-year-old is justified in his paranoia that authorities in Belize are out to get him.
"He's in constant fear, paranoid," the woman -- only identified as "Francesca" -- told CNN. "I would say it's because of what he has been through."
As we previously reported, Belize officials seek to speak with the eccentric McAfee about the shooting death of his neighbor, and fellow American, Gregory Faull. McAfee has evaded officials, claiming he and those close to him have been wrongly targeted since the incident.
In her latest public hearing, daytime diva Rosie O’Donnell opened up old wounds with former co-host Barbara Walters of The View.
“[Barbara] wanted everyone to believe and think and act as if [the hosts] get along and are really good friends and are happy and hang out together,” Rosie recently chided.
“And, you know, that’s just not the reality.”
O’Donnell notably left the hit ABC talk show to “put an end” to the “politically charged bickering” with her co-hosts.
“I’m not saying they loathe each other, but the fact of the matter is, there was not a lot of camaraderie off camera.”
Rosie returns to TV next week in her own variety show called Rosie Live.
“The job description here is to entertain,” Rosie insists.
Rosie Live airs Nov. 26 at 8 p.m.
