Obama Spells Victory in Mississippi

Spelling it out: Barack Obama won by a large margin over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s Mississippi primaries. Also, the Texas Democratic caucuses were finally called, and the big O won that too. Still, Clinton presses on, with her camp saying they “look forward to campaigning in Pennsylvania and around the country as this campaign continues.”

Good cop out: After an Esquire story about calling him the “good cop on Iran” who was “brazenly challenging” president Bush and the possibility of an “unsound war,” William J. Fallon, the top U.S. military commander for the Middle East, resigns.

Seriously: David Letterman got serious on his show Tuesday night, ranting about Eliot Spitzer and demanding that Governor Hobagger quit. “He should have just stepped down. He should have stepped down yesterday … Get out of the office,” Letterman said, “for the love of god.”

WAIT, THERE’S MORE: America’s dirty girls, Hugh Laurie’s method acting, and George Clooney’s timely dilemma.
