At last night's VIP Lucky Shops party, you could cut the estrogen in the air with a knife! The horde of well-groomed fashion-assistant types there to splurge on new, totally cute duds were on a collective sugar-high, fueled by Pomegranate cocktails and adorable little mini Larabars, which have like no fat in them and are totally vegan or something.
But as the frenzied, highlighted troops made their way from booth to booth, we couldn't help but notice the brands that just weren't getting any love. Hip Lower East Side label Foley and Corinna was thronged, Marc Jacobs was near hysteria, and the gals were snapping up Michael Kors bags and Thread Social frocks faster than the speed of light. But sadly, the love did not extend quite to Sarah Jessica Parker's Covet scent booth, or to the sad rack of shirts designed by Mandy Moore and called Mblem (clever!).
