David Spade on Being the World's Biggest Casanova

Los Angeles Times national correspondent J.R. Moehringer has a great feature in this month's issue of Los Angeles magazine in which he attempts to figure out exactly how his high school classmate David Spade came to be a lady-killer on par with the Derek Jeters and George Clooneys of the world. Despite routinely being described as "scruffy, mangy," and "elfin," Spade has dated the likes of Krista Allen, Gena Lee Nolin, Sarah Foster, Heather Locklear, Lara Flynn Boyle, and ; he also recently knocked up a 22-year-old Playboy playmate for good measure. His conquests, argue Moehringer, can't be chalked up to his wealth or fame, as it were; Spade was taking down cheerleaders and prom queens when the two were teenagers in Scottsdale, Arizona.
