Four teens from the hardscrabble town of Litchfield, Connecticut, have entered guilty pleas to “a three-town crime spree that authorities say was inspired by a joke by [alleged] comedian Dane Cook. [T]he teens smashed mail boxes at 14 homes in Norfolk, Colebrook and Winsted and threw rocks through some windows [and] the crimes escalated to two home invasions. Officials say the defendants were enacting a joke Cook made on an HBO special about committing a ‘B&E,’ or breaking and entering.”
God, it’s bad enough that kids are actually listening to Dane Cook, let alone using him as inspiration. What’s next for these young punks, stealing?
