  • Okay, it's time to seriously start worrying about the state of the economy: "A top US drugs official expressed concern Friday about growing quantities of cocaine being trafficked through Africa to Europe, as amounts of the stimulant reaching the United States tapers off." While drug policy control director John Walters claims that no one quite knows why the shift is occurring, he concedes that it might have something to do with the value of the euro against the dollar. Now, people losing their homes is sad and all, but if our crappy fiscal management is going to make it harder for the average Joe to get an eightball for the weekend, we're going to see serious repercussions, particularly in the stripping and roadieing industries. Write your representatives and demand immediate action on this imminent crisis before it's too late. AP
