Puppy Removed from Olympic Menu

It's a sad day for the fine citizens of the world who are headed to China this week and who share a taste for both the celebrated sports of the Olympic games and the not-so-celebrated sport of dog-eating: the Beijing Catering Trade Association has required all designated Olympic restaurants to remove dog from the menu, and has pushed other restaurants in the area to do the same.
Of course, the Chinese aren't the only ones with dining habits that don't sit so well with the rest of the world. The Great American Hamburger, for example, represents 8 oz. of blasphemy for Hindus, who hold the cow in sacred regard; and regional delicacies are far weirder.
