Megyn Kelly's Controversial Alex Jones Interview A Ratings Bust
Megyn Kelly's Sunday Night has seen no growth after her scandalous interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, RadarOnline.com can report.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kelly received major attention and backlash after she announced her controversial interview with Jones, who shocked Sandy Hook Elementary survivors and their loved ones by denying the mass shooting's existence.
Yesterday's episode averaged 3.5 million viewers, a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and a 0.7 rating among adults 25-54, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kelly's first episode came out high, averaging 6.2 million viewers, while her second episode dipped down to 3.6 million viewers and was dwarfed by competitor 60 Minutes.
Infowars founder Jones leaked exclusive audio of his interview with Kelly prior to the airing of the episode, creating a wave of criticism against both parties.
Kelly has stood by her decision to allow Jones to share his story.
"Our goal in sitting down with him was to shine a light — as journalists as supposed to do," she said in statement last week.
