Charges Have Been Filed Against Six Cops In The Death of Freddie Gray

State Attorney of Baltimore Marilyn Mosby announced on May 1 that one Baltimore cop is being charged with murder, three are being charged with manslaughter and two with assault in the death of Freddie Gray. On April 19, Gray died from an untreated broken neck as he laid facedown in a police van with shackles around his feet as the cops who held him in custody ignored his pleas for pain and continued to make stops in the vehicle. Nationwide protests demanding justice for Gray broke out shortly after.
