Here comes the bride! RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid will shun a big wedding ceremony in favor of an elopement!

"Making wedding plans was so stressful and it was part of why they split for a while," explained an insider.

The pair have since realized their plan to elope is the perfect way to tie the knot.

"They just want to do this with a minimum of fuss in an LA registry office, then they'll have a wedding dinner party at her place with friends and family," said the insider.

Cox and McDaid want the quickie ceremony to "be just the two of them with Coco," Cox's daughter with David Arquette, and they believe that autumn time will be the perfect time to get hitched.

"They've told people to keep a weekend free in October," noted the insider.

As for the honeymoon? The two are thinking about taking a trip to Northern Ireland.

Despite Cox and McDaid's whirlwind plans, not everyone will be as excited about an elopement as they are. "Johnny's family won't be happy about this, but it's what they both want right now," said the insider. "They're finally in a place where they're having loads of fun."
