CAA Fire Agent After Actress’ Files Sexual Assault Lawsuit - Details
A high-powered Hollywood talent agency axed one of their agents after claims of sexual assault.
RadarOnline.com has learned Cameron Mitchell was fired one day after actress Demi Mann filed a lawsuit alleging Mitchell sexually assaulted her and continuously harassed her under the guise of working with her as her agent.
In her suit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court Mann claimed that CAA officials knew about Mitchell’s behavior and drug use but did not act.
She is suing Mitchell and CAA for assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, emotional distress, among other allegations.
Mitchell who had a roster of well-known clients including;Djimon Hounsou,Gabrielle Union, Terrence Howard, Will Packer and Common, denied the allegations.
In her suit Mann contends that after the pair initially met at a Coffee Bean in Century City in 2013 Mitchell continually made false claims regarding promoting her career.
She alleged that he told her she would be connecting to high-powered executives and directors, and told her not to speak to anyone else at CAA.
According to the court records, Mitchell told Mann to meet him at a bar in West Hollywood on Sept. 22, 2017 where she would meet "several influential people” in the entertainment business.
At the bar, Mitchell purchased and encouraged her to consume several alcohol drinks and then groped her buttocks against her consent, she alleged. Mann said Mitchell continued to encourage her to drink throughout the night at another bar and eventually took her home.

According to the complaint, Mann found herself on her own bed hours later without memory of what had occurred during that span of time, and with the Defendant Mitchell lying next to her fully naked and pulling her on top of him, while demanding that she perform oral sex on him.
Mann claimed she requested to meet with CAA Human Resources representatives to report her concerns about Mitchell, but they refused.
CAA released a statement Friday and said Mann was never a client of the agency. Officials said an investigation was conducted after Mann contacted the agency in October.
It read: “We spoke with Ms. Mann multiple times, suspended Mr. Mitchell pending the completion of the investigation, and, based upon the information we could gather, took other appropriate action. Ms. Mann was not nor has she ever been a client of the agency. As is clear from Ms. Mann’s allegations in the complaint, she did not have any interactions with any agents at CAA except for Mr. Mitchell. To the extent Mr. Mitchell formed a personal relationship with Ms. Mann, it was solely that, and outside the bounds of a professional relationship between CAA and Ms. Mann."
