Bethenny Frankel has had a rough week.

Amid the finalization of her infamous nasty divorce from Jason Hoppy, the Real Housewives of New York star broke down following a brutal Bravo reunion taping, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

"Bethenny was sobbing," a show insider tells RadarOnline.com of the tough-as-nails businesswoman, who filmed the show's special late last week. "She had a complete meltdown."

So, what— or who— broke the unbreakable Frankel? Sources say the 45-year-old single mom had an "epiphany" about her behavior over the past season after watching a montage of her nastiest spats.

"She was genuinely upset by how she came across onscreen," the insider explains. "Often, she doesn't realize how she comes across."

Also, according to the source, the star was exhausted from the 12-hour shoot with host Andy Cohen.

Over the course of season eight, Frankel has fought with cast members including LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and newbie Jules Wainstein, who is currently going through her own divorce drama.

She also has created chaos behind the scenes, RadarOnline.com previously reported. Soruces claimed that Frankel forbade her costars from talking about her divorce or 6-year-old daughter Bryn on camera.
