Denise Richards Will Keep Charlie Sheen's Twins For The Rest Of The Year

Denise Richards will retain custody of Charlie Sheens twins, Bob & Max, 4, with ex-wife, Brooke Mueller for the rest of the year, is exclusively reporting.

Child protective services has “recommended that while Brooke continues to get treatment for her drug addiction, the twins continue to live with Denise for the rest of the year,” a source told Radar.

“Brooke is going to need to demonstrate during that time a commitment to her sobriety and recovery, and not have any dirty drug tests. Denise is thrilled to take care of the twins and hopes to make it permanent. The boys are doing extremely well in her care.”

The twins were placed with Denise temporarily after Brooke was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold because of a drug overdose in May. Social workers from the Los Angeles County of Department of Children & Family Services removed the boys from her home due to her ongoing drug use.

The Palm Beach socialite is currently enrolled in her 21st rehab for an addiction to crystal meth.

As Radar previously reported, Charlie had offered to pay Denise extra child support for the twins, which she turned down.

“Charlie is extremely generous, and wanted to make sure having the twins in Denise’s care didn’t place a financial strain on her,” an insider previously revealed.

“Denise was thankful for the offer, but declined because she has the financial means to take care of them herself. She isn’t doing this for the money.”
