The woman who alleges that she was raped by Pippa Middleton's father-in-law David Matthews has talked about her ordeal.
She told the police the experience left her "shocked and disgusted".
It has been claimed that the 74-year-old multi-millionaire raped her on the Caribbean Island of St Barts backed in 1998 and then in Paris.
Sources claim the woman told police from the French Brigade for the Protection of Minors she felt "self-loathing" after the alleged attacks.
Hotelier Matthews, who denies the claims, was charged with raping a minor by a French magistrate on Thursday after he was stopped at Paris Orly airport two days earlier.
Wealthy businessman Matthews is father of Pippa's husband, James Matthews and the allegations have sent shockwaves around the British Royal family.
The alleged victim told police: "Afterwards I felt like I was to blame. I developed feelings of self-loathing and felt worthless."
Matthews runs the luxury Eden Rock Hotel on St Barts with wife Jane Matthews, 70, and both Pippa and her sister, Kate The Duchess of Cambridge are both regular visitors.
The victim alleges that the first incident happened at the hotel set on the star-studded island.
A spokesman for Matthews said in a statement: "David Matthews categorically denies the allegation and unequivocally contests the untrue and scandalous accusation".
