In Denial? Wendy Williams Slams Husband's Cheating Rumors: 'He Is My Best Friend'

Wendy Williams is sticking by her husband despite rumors that he has been romancing a mistress behind the talk show host's back.

In her shocking comeback on The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, March 4, Williams quickly told the crowd she's in love with her husband.

"I want to shout out my husband. I'm still wearing my ring," she said as the crowd applauded.

"He is my best friend, my lover, he's all this and he's all that," Williams, 54, continued. "I know what you've been saying and I know what the streets have been talking about."

The troubled talk show host left fans worried as she began exhibiting weird behavior on-air. In addition to struggling with thyroid issues, sources exclusively dished to RadarOnline.com that she has been reeling from her husband Kevin Hunter's alleged infidelity.

Hunter's alleged affair was rumored to have caused Williams' three-month long hiatus from her show.

"The strange part was he provided no update on Wendy's health, when she would be back or how she was feeling, which was clearly info that everyone at the show needs to do their jobs," the insider said.

On Monday, Williams reminded her fans that the couple has been married for 25 years. Still, she admitted marriage isn't easy.

"Marriages are not easy – and don't ask me about mine until you see this gone," she said referring to her ring. "It ain't going anywhere, not in this lifetime."

Also in the episode, Williams blamed her disappearance on health issues, specifically, her struggle with thyroid issues and Graves' disease.
