Wendy Williams finally returned to her talk show on Monday, March 4, where she quickly blamed her three-month long hiatus on her thyroid issues, RadarOnline.com can report.
"So what had happened was we were only supposed to be off two weeks for Christmas vacation," Williams, 54, revealed. "And towards the end of the two weeks, I started to feel thyroid issues."
The troubled talk show host admitted that she's worked with a plethora of doctors to get her health issues straightened out.
"Well, they're still adjusting my meds," Williams said. "If you don't know about thyroid disease, it's a lifetime thing. It can really screw you over."
As Radar readers know, Williams' shocking hiatus came on the heels of concerns for her health and a humiliating cheating scandal involving her husband, Kevin Hunter, and his alleged mistress. She has since denied any infidelity issues in her marriage.
The controversial host's employees were allegedly up in arms as they worried about the future of their jobs, sources told Radar.
On Monday, she admitted that in addition to thyroid issues, she also struggles from Graves' disease.
"And then, you know, I always have an equilibrium thing with my Vertigo," she explained. "I'm the kind of patient, if I cough, I'm thinking I'm dying!"
Williams, however, shared with the audience that she's currently working out seven days a week to get back on track.
