Venus Williams Settles Wrongful Death Suit With Victim’s Family After Fatal Car Crash
Venus Williams settled the wrongful death suit filed against her after the fatal car crash that left one man killed, RadarOnline.com confirmed.
The tennis star was involved in a 2017 car accident in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with Jerome and Linda Barson. His estate sued her for wrongful death.
A representative for the family’s lawyer confirmed to RadarOnline.com that a settlement in the car crash case was reached.

“I am completely speechless,” Williams previously said about the accident that left her “heartbroken.”
Police declined to press charges against Williams when video from the crash showed she was “caught in the middle” of an intersection when the Barson’s car t-boned her SUV.
Jerome died 14 days after the accident and his wife was injured in the crash as well.
