'Bachelor' Bombshell! Nick Viall's Fiancée Hiding Massive Secret From Fans
Did Vanessa Grimaldi join The Bachelor to fight for Nick Viall's heart or to kick-start her acting career? Grimaldi's director for Blue Mountain State revealed her struggles as an actress exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
"I remember her in a few episodes, but not to a great extent," director John Fortenberry said of Grimaldi, who appeared in one episode of Blue Mountain State in 2010. "She never had much of a substantial role. Given the nature of that show, we had quite a few attractive girls."
According to the special education teacher's IMDB page, she also made appearances in Being Human in 2011 and Ascension in 2014.
Although she never made it as an actress, Fortenberry, who is also a director on Black-ish, admitted she was talented.
"Given the fact that she was not given a lot of heavy lifting in that show, she certainly accomplished what her task was for that," he said. "I have reason to suspect she could be an accomplished actress if she were given a more substantial role."
Because of her acting past, Bachelor nation accused Grimaldi, 29, of appearing on the reality dating show for the wrong reasons.
"The fact that Vanessa Grimaldi was in Blue Mountain State and is an 'aspiring actress' ruins her completely," one viewer tweeted, as another wrote, "Disappointed that Vanessa Grimaldi is an actress. Makes me wonder if she was in it for the fame?"
On After The Final Rose, Grimaldi revealed that they are already having relationship issues.

"I love him, we love each other, but there are days that have been difficult," she admitted. "There have been moments when I wanted him to be a little more empathetic toward my feelings. So we've had our challenges with that, but at the end of the day, we both love each other. We want to make this work."
Their appearance continued to spark the claims that they're together for fame, as another viewer posted, "This is so easy. Vanessa has an IMDB page. She's an actress. Nick is going on DWTS. They did it for fame."
Although the Canadian put up a fight when it came to moving to America on the show, she admitted that she would be moving to Los Angeles to support Viall while he appears on Dancing With the Stars.
