Who’s That Masked Man? Tom Hardy Dons Odd Disguises To Avoid Crazed Fans

Tom Hardy is so petrified of being hounded by fans that he sneaks around in public wearing rubber comic book villain costumes!

According to a source, the Dark Knight Rises star brings a stash of disguises with him on promotional movie tours that he slips into after interviews are over so he can escape autograph hunters and other obsessed movie geeks.

“Tom is notoriously grouchy when it comes to spending time with crazed fans,” an insider explained to Radar. “He thinks it’s funny to wander among them and not be recognized.”

Unfortunately for Hardy, because of his latest role as monstrous super villain Venom, the Londoner is contractually obliged to attend Comic Con festivals to promote his blockbusters.

But Hardy, 40, himself has confessed he dressed up when he brought his 10-year-old son, Louis, to various Comic Cons.

“I managed to get a mask on and walk around with my son, so it was great being with him to really enjoy it,” said the actor, who dressed as Yoda, Deadpool and Spider-Man.
