‘Southern Charm’ Shocker! Thomas & Kathryn’s Custody Battle Explodes
Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis are still at war over their two babies, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Ravenel now has full custody of their children, as Dennis reportedly failed to show at a court appearance over the winter. She has also failed to submit her medical records to the court as well.
The Southern Charm couple began their romance on the show’s first season, and welcomed Kensington, 3, and Saint, 18 months, soon after. Their volatile on-again-off-again relationship carried throughout the show’s first three seasons, and is now kicking off the series’ fourth season as well.
Dennis, 24, returned from a rehab facility in California in the premiere episode, and Ravenel, 54, was not impressed. He voiced his frustrations over her refusal to take a drug test as part of their custody battle during a pool party.
“Why won’t she go take a drug test?” he questioned. “She won’t go ’cause she knows she’ll fail.”
As for Dennis, she told PEOPLE, “I’ve learned that I have to cope right now because there is an end to all of this custody conflict. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. And I have to remain true to myself and remain resilient in my recovery. There’s going to be a day when things get back to normal, and that day’s getting closer and closer.”

“I’m trying to figure out what exactly I want to do with my life as a person and as someone who’s going to be a provider never dependent on anyone or on any man,” she added. “I’m saving my money. I’m living back at home, which is great for me. I have privacy and time to really think about these things. I want normalcy. I want to lead a more simple life. My relationship with Thomas was complicated and my reality with him was so chaotic. I just want to get back to the things that I loved prior to that and put on the backburner for some years.”
But, RadarOnline.com previously reported that Ravenel isn’t so squeaky clean himself. He was secretly sentenced to 10 months in prison as part of a cocaine bust in 2008.
