And although Levine, 38, is set on taking time off to spend with his new family after this season, an on-set source revealed his bosses offered him a $500,000 bonus on top of the multi-million salary increase already offered to stay on the show!

“Adam’s wife is pressuring him to take some time off since she just gave birth to their second daughter. But the timing could not be worse because he is obligated to be rehearsing for the upcoming season that starts next week!”

“For now, they are making due without him and everyone is just really glad that Adam is a pro and doesn’t need to rehearse,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“Naturally, he wants to be with his wife and his baby girl for the first week of her life and really would like to be there for the first year.”

“At this point, it is not about the money for him and he just really wants a break,” the source said, adding, “As of right now, he has not made any formal decision as everything is just kind of happening at once. It is really quite tense though and the execs are freaking out.
