Jenelle Evans and David Eason are in Columbus County Court in North Carolina for what is expected to be their final day in their custody battle. In an exclusive video obtained by RadarOnline.com, the fired Teen Mom 2 star’s controversial husband appeared visibly upset as he left the courthouse.
Jenelle, 27, and David appeared in court on Friday, May 24 for their fourth hearing in the Child Protective Services case against them.
In the video, David ignored questions as he walked out of the courthouse without Jenelle.
He trimmed his long beard and wore a plaid button-down shirt with a blazer for the court hearing. Jenelle wore a white blouse and black pants.
RadarOnline.com broke that David shot and killed Jenelle’s dog Nugget. He later admitted to the shooting, claiming their dog bit daughter Ensley, 2. A video showed the pooch harmlessly nipping the toddler.
Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 soon after the scandal. David was fired from the series last year over homophobic social media comments.
CPS ordered Nathan Griffith’s mom Doris to pick up their son Kaiser, 4, from day care on Friday, May 10.
Jenelle’s mom, who has custody of her son Jace, 9, was ordered to temporarily stop his visits with Jenelle and David.
Jenelle and David’s daughter, Ensley, and his daughter Maryssa, 11, from a previous marriage, were removed from their custody. Ensley is currently in Barbara’s care, while Maryssa is with her grandmother.
During their second day in court on May 17, David “flipped out.”
“He was sitting in the courtroom and he pulled Jenelle over and was saying very mean things about everything that was going on,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “He was just so mad.”
Jenelle and David have had visitation with their children. David’s daughter Maryssa cried after a visit with her dad.
“It was supervised with the Sheriff and social services was in the room and Maryssa ran out hysterical crying into her grandmother’s arms,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “David was yelling: ‘What did you do to my child? Why won’t she talk to me?’”
The insider said Kaiser “is so happy with Nathan.”
“It would be a crying shame if the kids go back to them,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
Jenelle and David tried to get the judge thrown off the case.
“Jenelle’s attorney said that the judge had a prejudice against them because he was biased toward CPS,” the source told RadarOnline.com. The request was shut down.
