It’s been over a week since Tamera Mowry and her family had to mourn the loss of Alaina Housley, the beautiful teen who was killed in the Borderline Bar & Grill shooting along with 11 others. This Thursday, her close relatives laid her to rest in an intimate service, and moments later, the Sister, Sister actress shared some touching words.
"Today we lay you to rest sweet angel. I’ll miss you forever and your sweet smile. Until we meet again,” Mowry, 40, wrote on Instagram.
She also shared a quote that read “Grief never ends… but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.”
RadarOnline.com readers know Mowry has shared various posts about her late niece ever since she was confirmed dead last week following the massacre.
As fans recall, the star took to Twitter to announce the 18-year-old was missing hours after Ian Long opened fire inside the cheerful country bar.
She said they were not giving up their search and were still looking for clues regarding her whereabouts. As the death toll begin to rise, however, Housley’s father told RadarOnline.com through tears that the only people who had not been identified were the deceased. Hours later, the family announced her death.
R.I.P. Alaina Housley.
