Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel’s baby mama Kathryn Dennis passed multiple drugs tests in the year since she lost custody of her children RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
The Bravolebrities are headed to court on June 8 to battle for their son and daughter but Dennis’ clean tests may give her an advantage in the situation.
“Kathryn has passed two or three drug tests,” an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com.
Dennis shockingly lost custody of the children in 2016 after she failed a drug test, with Ravenel, 55, becoming the full-time parent to Kensie and Saint.
“Kathryn submitted to the drug tests that Thomas ordered over the year since she lost custody of the kids and she passed them all,” the source explained.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Ravenel and Dennis were set to face off in another phase of their custody battle, with the children’s mother gunning for more time with the children and child support after cleaning up her act.
“Kathryn is going to court to ask a judge to give her full custody of the kids,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
“Right now, Kathryn pays Thomas $100 a month in child support since he has full custody. She is planning to ask for money for child support from Thomas in court since she is spending fifty percent of the time with the kids.”
A source also revealed that Dennis’ mother was supervising her time with the children and planned to do so in the future.
“Kathryn doesn’t have a nanny, she spends the time with her children and her mom is there to help out.”
RadarOnline.com also reported that Dennis considered using the reports of sexual assault against Ravenel in the custody battle. “She might do that if she thinks it will help get her more time and money,” the source said.
Ravenel was accused by his former nanny Dawn of sexual assault.
A woman named Ashley Perkins revealed that her mother, Debbie Perkins, claimed he assaulted her on Christmas in 2015. Ashley claims Ravenel paid her mother a $200,00 settlement after mediation in 2016.
“My client enjoys a certain degree of fame, which has unfortunately made him a vulnerable target for such claims,” Ravenel’s attorney, Richard P. Terbrusch, told PEOPLE in a statement responding to Ashley’s allegations. “The person this woman describes is simply not the man that I know. My client is a loving father, successful businessman, and upright member of the community. He is appalled and hurt by these allegations — and is committed to defending his reputation in the appropriate legal forum.”
