Ashley Jacobs hit the delete button on Thomas Ravenel on her Instagram account and he changed his status to “single” on Facebook as RadarOnline.com exclusively learned that the bitter couple were “fighting nonstop,” as they finally broke up.
The Bravolebrities had a volatile relationship and their arguments ramped up after she returned from her California vacation in July. They finally called it quits this week and she confirmed the news in a tearful Instagram live video on Wednesday.
“I don’t want to comment but there are just some things I’m trying to handle privately,” Jacobs said while sitting in her car in her pink nurse's scrubs on the live video.
“Before I say too much, I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas. I’ll always care about him," she said.
Crying, Jacobs gave details about the bitter end of their year-long relationship.
“I’m still trying to work it out, not work out getting back together, but I’m still trying to figure it out. I think everyone’s been through breakups before but it’s hard. It’s not easy."
But an insider snitched to RadarOnline.com that Jacobs didn't want the relationship to end.
"Ashley was fighting back and she didn’t want Thomas to break up with her. She would call him and beg him not to end their relationship.”
Jacobs was not living with Ravenel, who was fired from Southern Charm, as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported. However, she was living in an apartment for which he paid the rent and the source said she was endlessly berating him before they broke up.
“Ashley called Thomas numerous times a day. She was calling him names and really yelling at him,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“She would scream at the top of her lungs on the phone. Thomas had enough, and they broke up.”
Ravenel changed his status to single on Facebook as Jacobs cleaned him out of her account.
All About the Tea reported the romance was finally over. “The break up is final. Ashley is moving back to California this week and Thomas is pleased.”
“I am who I am today because of my failures,” Jacobs wrote on her Instagram page after removing every single picture of Ravenel from her page.
“I am compassionate because I’ve failed. I am understanding because I’ve failed. I am more emotionally aware because I’ve failed. I’m smarter because I’ve failed. And I understand the values and beliefs of the things that matter in life because of those failures. So I would never take them back. I would never go back in time and change a single thing. As C.S. Lewis stated it so beautifully, 'You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.'"

Jacobs also apologized to on the video.
"I'm sorry for anyone I hurt," she said, referencing her ugly fights with Ravenel's baby mama, Kathryn Dennis.
"I can't go back," she cried. "I can only go forward."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jacobs was fired from Southern Charm after her disastrous fights with Ravenel’s baby mama Kathryn Dennis earned her the wrath of the rest of the cast.
She spoke about the show during her live video, saying: "I don't know what's to come with Southern Charm. I just can't imagine what would be my relevance. I can't do a show without Thomas or not with Thomas. It just doesn't make any sense."
