Money woes in South Carolina!
Southern Charm cast members are furious that Cameran Eubanks and Shep Rose got hefty raises and no one else did, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
“For the new season both Cameran and Shep got a big bump in their salary,” a show insider snitched to RadarOnline.com about the Bravolebrities.
“Before this everyone was making the same amount, $25,000 an episode, which came out to $425,000 for the last season. But after the drama of last season Cameran and Shep each got a huge raise.”
Eubanks and Rose were the comic relief on Southern Charm, and were fan favorites, while the drama between Thomas Ravenel and his girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, and his baby mama, Kathryn Dennis, took a dark turn.
“Cameran and Shep make the show what it is and they’re the most popular, so Bravo gave them a raise,” the insider revealed to RadarOnline.com.
“And the rest of the cast members are really mad. Cameran and Shep weren’t supposed to talk about getting more money, but the other ones found out that they got raises and they’re mad,” the source dished.
“Everyone thought that since it was South Carolina they were all going to get paid the same, but they’re all independent contractors and they can get paid more.”
Southern Charm filming was scheduled to begin in mid-September with Craig Conover, Patricia Altschul, Naomi Olindo, Austen Kroll and Chelsea Meissner but was slightly delayed because of Hurricane Florence the source told RadarOnline.com.
RadarOnline.com was the first to report that Ravenel was fired from the show after his sexual assault allegations became public.
Eubanks and Rose negotiated their raises before filming started.
“There could be a revolt on Southern Charm,” the insider explained. “The lower paid cast members are pretty mad about Cameran and Shep’s raises.”
