Skyler Bouchard’s Summer Appetizers Pair ‘Perfectly’ With Rosé

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of time to drink rosé; especially when you know how to pair the colorful wine with the right appetizers!

Dining with Skyler founder Skyler Bouchard knows all about food and wine pairings, and she shared some of her expert tips with Us Weekly in the video above.

In fact, Skyler, who is the host of Food Network’s digital series, Treat Yourself with Skyler, paired Kim Crawford’s “fruity” pale pink rosé with not one, not two, but three easy-to-make apps that will take your summer soirees to the next level.

First up, “sweet and savory” strawberry Brie brioche bites elevate the strawberry flavor in the wine, while a drizzle of maple syrup gives the tasty snacks an added burst of sweetness.

Next, hot pink beet hummus with crudités, which coordinates perfectly with the rosé, is ideal to serve in individual glasses, which also helps prevent any dreaded double-dipping. As Skyler adds, the “bright flavor” of the wine really compliments the hummus.

And last but certainly not least, the feta watermelon caprese bites, which are a “twist” on the more traditional caprese salad, pair perfectly with the wine thanks to the snack’s “strong” watermelon flavor.
