Scott Eastwood comes from a famous family, so he didn't need Taylor Swift's help when it came to his career!
Eastwood, 30, appeared in Swift's video for "Wildest Dreams," despite his agents' advice!
"None of my agents even wanted me to do it actually," he told PEOPLE. "They said, 'well, we don't want you to do that. Why would you go be Taylor Swift's boy-toy?'"
"And I said, 'well, why the hell not?'" he laughed.
The Suicide Squad actor and the singer shot the video last summer, and debuted it at the 2015 VMAs.
"What an amazing time working with @taylorswift Not only is she a rockstar. But someone I am proud to call a friend. She is a great person and those are hard to find in your life. When you do.... Hold tight. #WildestDreamsMusicVideo," he shared at the time.
Swift, 26, has been facing harsh backlash after Kim Kardashian, 35, leaked her phone conversation with Kanye West, 39, over the track "Famous."
Troian Bellisario most recently spoke out against the 1989 singer for promoting "false feminism"
"It seems like she's this person who's like, 'Sisterhood!' and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends," the Pretty Little Liars star said.
