Rose McGowan Says She Will 'Clearly Plead Not Guilty' After Cocaine Arrest

Rose McGowan is furious after being arrested with possession of cocaine, and has assured fans she will certainly "plead not guilty." During a recent interview, the star also suggested that someone planted the drugs in her wallet after she accused Harvey Weinstein of rape.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the actress was arrested and imprisoned on January 20 after airport officials found a bag of cocaine in her wallet. She was later released on a $5K bond.
McGowan, 44, turned herself in after seeing the bag herself, but claimed her wallet had gone missing when she got up to go to the restroom in the plane.
"I had it in the side pocket of my backpack, and I left it on my seat as I went to the bathroom," she told the New Yorker.
She tweeted United Airlines to help her find it, but once they called to say the had, she immediately knew something was off.
"I was going to ASAP but then things started to get really weird. I knew I was being followed and that I wasn't safe."
McGowan hinted that after she put Harvey Weinstein, 65, under fire for his alleged sexual abuse, someone had been hired to follow her. She believed this person is the one who put the drugs in her wallet, took it and then made it seem like it was hers.
The actress claimed she does not use cocaine and could actually "think of nothing more opposed" to her views.
"I will clearly plead not guilty," a livid McGowan told a New Yorker reporter.
After the incident, Rose McGowan tweeted an angry message, saying: "Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSES**T"
The star is set to be arraigned this Thursday.
