Awkward Exes! Rihanna Caught Avoiding Drake's Dad & Crew At VIP Coachella Bash

How awkward are Rihanna and Drake?
The "Hotline Bling" singer, 31, skipped Coachella this weekend, and watched the performances from his iPad at home — but his ex, Rihanna, 30, did something even worse to avoid a run-in. A source exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the singing beauty made an effort to avoid Drake's dad and friends while partying in her VIP section at the star-studded music festival!
The rapper — who is good friends with the owners of Poppy nightclub in LA — decided to skip the ritzy Palm Springs festival hosted by Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Dad Dennis Graham, however, showed up to celebrate in style. He even ended up running into his son's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, though she refused to leave her secluded VIP booth.
"Drake's dad and Rihanna were two opposite sides of the field at the bash, and she avoided many of his friends," the eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. "She sat right at the back of the party on a platform on her own and had more special treatment than anybody else, everyone was running around her making sure she was happy."
While everyone (Drake's dad included) seemed to be having a blast at the music festival, Rihanna seemed aloof and bored.
"Rihanna came with a security team but seemed to be on her own and barely spoke to anybody before leaving shortly after," continued the source.
Meanwhile, Drake shared his location with fans, even uploading a video of himself watching the main Coachella performances on his iPad!
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Drake and Rihanna were rumored to have had a fling, after he confessed his love for her at the TV Movie Awards in July 2016. Afterwards, they were spotted spending a whole lot of time together — attending each other's shows and even getting matching tattoos! Weeks later, it was reported that Drake cheated on the singing beauty. He was even pictured kissing and cuddling up to Jennifer Lopez days after his and Rihanna's alleged split.
Rihanna quickly unfollowed J.Lo form Instagram, and threw out the two dozen red roses and returned an 18-carat gold choker that Drake sent her as an apology!
As is clear from their recent Coachella drama, the exes haven't let their feud go!
