Kenya Moore has gone into the hospital to have her baby after recently suffering a terrifying preeclampsia complication. The fomer The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 47, showed fans via an Instagram photo that she was lying in a hospital bed on Saturday, November 3.
Moore, with a blanket over her, looked at the camera with one hand resting lightly on her tummy.
"If you want to make God laugh have a plan... won't be long now. Pray for us ?? #babydaly #weloveyou #prayers," she wrote as a caption.
This week, Moore told fans on social media that her child will be early, writing, "I will have to deliver #babydaly early but I’m being closely monitored to determine when. Thank you for all your love and well wishes."
Last Saturday, the reality star who is married to Marc Daly, posted a photo of her swollen feet on Instagram and detailed her pre-birth preeclampsia horror.
Moore wrote in a caption, "made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia... I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal! I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day."
The reality TV star added via Instagram that she was, "Staying positive. To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors.?? #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40."
According to medical experts, preeclampsia is a complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys. Moore and husband Daly have reportedly chosen a baby name but haven't revealed it. Although they don't know the sex of their child, they have settled on a unisex moniker.
The former beauty queen was fired from RHOA when she secretly married Daly and then refused to put him on camera and reveal all the details of their lives, as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported.
According to a RadarOnline.com source, "Bravo isn't paying for Kenya's baby footage."
