Troubled Redmond O’Neal plead ‘not guilty’ in his robbery and assault case today.
Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett's 33-year-old son appeared at LAX Airport courthouse in Los Angeles.
He entered a formal plea to the charges of second-degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a smoking device, possession of an injection/ingestion device and two counts of possessing a controlled substance (the controlled substances are meth and heroin).
O’Neal, 33, allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven store in Santa Monica on May 8 at 3 am in the morning making out with $60 cash.
His bail was set at $125,000 but that was placed on hold and he remained behind bars because of a previous parole violation.
He faces up to 10 years in state prison if convicted on all counts, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office because of his previous record.
O’Neal’s Preliminary Hearing will take place on May 25, 2018.
