The Younger, The Better? 'RHONY' Execs Seeking Star 'In Her 30s' To Replace Carole Radziwill

Carole Radziwill has abandoned The Real Housewives of New York City, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned producers are already searching for the show’s next big star!
“Producers are always looking for great new cast members and have several people in mind to replace Carole,” revealed a source, noting show executives “want to go younger.”
The source pointed out that Luann de Lesseps, 53, Ramona Singer, 61, and Bethenny Frankel, 47, started RHONY 10 years ago, and they aged right along with the popular reality program.
“It’s becoming the real grandmas of New York,” joked the source. “Producers want to turn back the clock and find ladies a decade younger.”
“Ideally, the new cast members would be in their late 30s and early 40s,” continued the show source. “They want women who are successful and they love folks who are already famous.”
And while watching the dating drama unfold every week ratchets up ratings, producers hope to “cast at least one women who is a real housewife — someone that is actually married!” says the source.
Though Radziwill's rumored replacement Jill Zarin is not returning to the show she helped pioneer, that doesn’t mean fans won’t see her pop up from time to time.
“Jill might be returning as a ‘friend’ of Luann on a few episodes, but that is entirely up to the Countess,” says the source.
