Ramona Outraged As Ex-Husband Mario Proposes Renewable Marriage Contract On ‘RHONY’

Ramona Singer’s ex-husband is back.
On the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona, 62, was enjoying a night out with the girls at T-Bar Steak and Lounge in the Upper East Side, when ex Mario Singer showed up to greet them.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the two tied the knot in 1992 and separated in 2014 after the reality star reportedly caught her baby daddy cheating. The two finalized their divorce in 2016, after Mario, 65, allegedly reconciled with on-and-off girlfriend, Kasey Dexter, and he had not been on the show since!
“Mario had a mid-life crisis,” Ramona said on RHONY. “He went through this really dark, weird place that I didn’t even know who he was. Now Mario is back to the man he was when I married him. And he is charming and fun and great to be around.”
After seeing her ex, Ramona turned into a totally different person — and the RHONY ladies noticed. Explaining that the two still had a wonderful friendship, she began shamelessly flirting with him and giggling like never before! At one point, Ramona started sniffing Mario’s neck and telling him he smelled great.
“Ramona’s like a school girl,” Luann de Lesseps joked. “She blushes, she’s flirting with him and all giggly and googly-eyed. I was like, ‘Oh my God, who is this?’“
Soon, Mario passed out glittery gifts to the ladies, making his ex-wife even more giddy.
“He’s a really great father,” Ramona told PEOPLE in March, talking about their close relationship post-divorce. “When he’s in town he sees Avery every night and at this point we have a really great relationship. I’ll go out with them for dinner.”
Ramona was clearly happy to be around Mario on the show, but her flirty laughs stopped short when the hunk — who now has an online dating profile on Bumble — brought up a bizarre marriage proposal.
“I have a new rule,” he said. “There should be a renewable contract. You get married, and every seven years or so, you say, ‘Are we going to renew the contract of marriage?’ I think it’s a good idea!”
The ladies did not agree.
“I think what’s really important is communication,” Ramona sternly replied. “You don’t wait until things fall apart. You should communicate and say, ‘Hey, I’m not happy for this and this’ and not wait until things starting going to s**t and can’t fix them.”
RadarOnline.com readers know Ramona and Mario share one child together, 23-year-old daughter Avery.
“I purposely got married later in life,” she added. “I waited because I wanted the marriage to last forever. We actually had a great marriage for a long time.”
Though she was glad to have spent some time with her ex, Ramona made it clear that fire was no longer burning.
“I have to say, Mario is still easy on the eyes and he’s fun to flirt with,” she said. “Do I like flirting with him? Absolutely. Do I want him back? I don’t think so.”
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
