As RadarOnline.com readers know, Joe passed away early this Wednesday after losing his battle to colon cancer.

While many of his family members remained estranged from his up until his final moments, Paris was always close to the famous patriarch and felt fiercely protective of him in the days leading up to his death.

“Paris is staying with Joe until the end. She said that she needs to be there with him when he transitions and that this is very important to her,” a family insider exclusively told Radar.

“She is at odds with her brothers and also certain members of her family because she is trying to say who can and cannot be there for her grandfather in his final hours,” the source explained.

“Paris and her brothers are of course upset right now and everyone gets that. But Paris and Joe are especially close. She is his youngest granddaughter and she is his baby.”

RIP Joe Jackson.
