Nikki Bella isn’t the only one in her family who has been charged with a crime. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Total Diva star’s brother JJ Garcia was arrested for a DUI.
In the incident report obtained from the Scottsdale Police Department, the reporting officer noticed a white Mazda SUV following too close to the vehicle in front of it.
“It appeared as if the Mazda driver was being impatient, or trying to intimidate the other driver to get them to move,” the report read of the July 2, 2015 incident. “As the Mazda made the right turn it turned improperly into the middle lane. From there it drove around the vehicle that had been in front of it and pretty immediately cut back into the curb lane.”
When the officer pulled him over because of the traffic violations, he asked how much he had to drink.
“Zero,” Garcia, who was 26 at the time, said. The officer continued, “I asked when he last had alcohol and he said it was around lunch time.”
But the officer observed slow speech, watery and bloodshot eyes, and the odor of alcohol.
His preliminary breath test measured .108%.
He was placed under arrest at 12:25am for driving under the influence of alcohol.
During a search of the car, two unopened Coors Lite Beers were found in a cooler. His alcohol count was .107 at 12:58am and .105 at 1:03am.
He was released to his wife Lauren at 1:10am.
He later admitted to drinking three Coors Light beers while at a softball field at 10:30pm.
According to Scottsdale City Court, he pled guilty to the charges against him on March 24, 2017.
Garcia and his wife Lauren are expecting their second child together. They are often on Nikki and Brie Bella’s E! series Total Divas.
WWE star Nikki, whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia, was charged with aggravated assault for allegedly breaking a girl’s nose when she was 17 years old, RadarOnline.com previously reported. The victim filed a case against her in 2002 for the October 26, 2001 fight.
Nikki, 34, pled not guilty and the case was dismissed in 2003.
