Reality TV Curse: ‘Wicked Tuna’ Fisherman Dies At 28
Nicholas “Duffy” Fudge, a fisherman who was part of the cast of the reality television show “Wicked Tuna,” has died, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
He was 28.
The series announced the news in a tweet over the weekend.
“Duffy was the first mate on Captain Tyler McLaughlin’s fishing vessel, Pinwheel,” the tweet stated. “We join his family and friends in mourning his untimely loss.”
Fudge, of Greenland, New Hampshire, died last Thursday from an undisclosed reason.

Duffy and his shipmates were profiled on the show as they tried to land bluefin tuna, which can weigh hundreds of pounds and fetch tens of thousands of dollars.
In honor of the late star, the show had a moment of silence on Twitter during Sunday evening’s episode.
