Poor Monica! Lewinsky Is Dis-invited To Event After Bill Clinton Decides To Attend
Monica Lewinsky is a victim of Bill Clinton once again, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Lewinsky, who famously had an affair with the former president, has said she was rudely dis-invited from Town & Country magazine’s annual philanthropic summit after Clinton agreed to attend.
She tweeted, “dear world: please don't invite me to an event (esp one about social change) and --then after i've accepted-- uninvite me because bill clinton then decided to attend/was invited. it's 2018. emily post would def not approve.”
The notorious former White House intern soon followed that up with a tweet slamming the magazine for trying to capitalize on her complaint.
“p.s. ...and definitely, please don't try to ameliorate the situation by insulting me with an offer of an article in your mag,” Lewinsky, now 44, concluded.
Clinton was at the summit on Wednesday to introduce Emma Gonzalez, the Florida high school student who became an advocate for gun control after the Valentine’s Day shooting at her school.
Lewinsky has found it hard to escape her past, even though the affair took place 20 years ago, and she has said repeatedly that she deeply regrets her “mistake.”
Lewinsky began sharing sexual play with then-President Clinton in November 1995, when she was just 22 and Bill was 49 and married to First Lady Hillary.
In January 1998, the shocking affair became public after Lewinsky's Pentagon bureaucrat pal Linda Tripp gave audio tapes she had made of the young woman admitting to her relationship to prosecutor Kenneth Starr. Starr had been investigating other Clinton scandals at the time, including the Whitewater controversy and Bill's alleged sexual harassment of Paula Jones.

Bill, now 71, famously told the nation back then, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."
But after the intern's blue dress allegedly had his semen on it, the President later admitted to the "inappropriate" relationship.
Lewinsky never married or had children. After staying out of the public eye for years, she now makes public appearances and speaks out against bullying.
In April 2016, Lewinsky told the Guardian, “I felt like every layer of my skin and my identity were ripped off of me in ’98 and ’99. It’s a skinning of sorts. You feel incredibly raw and frightened. But I also feel like the shame sticks to you like tar.”
And people make sure Clinton isn't ever in the same room with her!
