Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Engaged — Two Months Before Prison Sentencing
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is engaged — two months before his much-awaited prison sentence.
This Thursday, the Jersey Shore star shared a sweet Instagram post announcing the happy news
“GYM TAN WE’RE ENGAGED!!” the 35-year-old wrote along with a photo of him and high school sweetheart Lauren Pesce posing on a carousel.
“THE FUTURE MR & MRS SITUATION,” he captioned another photo of him getting down on one knee.
“SHE SAID YES !!! ” he wrote on a third post of him carrying Pesce above his head.
Sorrentino’s Jersey Shore family took to social media to congratulate him of the happy news, with Snooki writing “Love you two so much!!!!” and Vinny Guadagnino writing “Congrats fam!!!!!”
“Obsessed,” commented JWoww, while roomie Ronnie Ortiz-Magro kept it simple with a heart and hand clapping emojis.
“She said yesssss!!” wrote an excited DJ Pauly D.
Pesce also took to Instagram to share a snap of herself wearing her glimmering diamond ring. "I said YES," she captioned the post. "Love you forever @mikethesituation."

Sorrentino has been dating Pesce for over six years, and previously gushed about her saying that she’d stood by him even through his rehab stint and reality TV chaos. On Jersey Shore: Family Vacation he event hinted that he would be asking her to marry him soon!
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Sorrentino’s engagement comes after he and his brother Marc were accused of tax fraud and tax evasion in 2014. The reality star pled guilty to one count of tax evasion in January and faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Thankfully for his new fiancée, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is a free man until his June 20, 2018 court hearing.
