Mel B Uncertain About America’s Got Talent Gig
Mel B has employment and money troubles.
The Blast website has reported that court documents in her bitter divorce settlement with Stephan Belafonte show her concerns.
In them the star judge claims that she could be easily replaced on the entertainment show America's Got Talent that would cause major financial strain on her resources.
She claimed: "I am currently a judge on the NBC television show, America's Got Talent. I am currently in contract until the end of October 2018. I do not know if I will be asked back as a Judge on America's Got Talent or if they will renew my contract.
"My current state of financial affairs is of utmost concern due to the fact that Stephen and I have immense tax debts and have been unable to repay those debts."
Mel B has been a judge since 2013 and has been popular among fellow judges Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.
The 13th season just started in May and runs through September and the British performer is determined to make an impression and to get re-signed once again.
