Megyn Kelly Fires Back At Jane Fonda After Awkward On-Screen Feud

Megyn Kelly is not letting that awkward Jane Fonda feud go!

This Monday, the Today show host spoke out about her infamous "face lift" incident with the celebrated actress (after which Fonda bashed Kelly for asking inappropriate questions) during her morning show.

Honestly, she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive," Kelly told her NBC audience.

Referring to Fonda's anti-America stance during the Vietnam War, Kelly continued: "Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam war, many of our veterans still call her 'Hanoi Jane' thanks to her radio broadcasts which attempted to shame American troops."

"She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our pilots," she added. "Even she had to apologize years later for that gun picture — but not for the rest of it."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the feud between Kelly, 47, and Fonda, 80, began when the NBC host asked the icon how many face lifts she had. Fonda thought the question inappropriate, and let her interviewer know that on the spot. She later bashed Kelly away during an interview with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.

Most recently, Fonda spoke of the feud this weekend, during an interview with Variety.

When asked if she would ever go on Megyn Kelly's show again (after her talk with her went viral), she said: "Sure."

"So you weren't upset that she asked you about plastic surgery?" the interviewer asked.

"No," clarified Fonda. "It wasn't like I was upset. I was stunned. It was so inappropriate. It showed that she's not that good an interviewer. But if she comes around and learns her stuff, sure."

Hearing this, Kelly became livid, and fired back on Today.

"By the way she still says she's not proud of America," Kelly went on, in her vengeful tirade against Fonda. "So, the moral indignation is a little much… honestly she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive."

"When she first complained publicly after the program, and repeatedly, I chose to say nothing, as my general philosophy is what other people think of me is none of my business," Kelly said to her viewers. "However, Fonda was at it again last week, including right here on NBC, and then again elsewhere. So it's time to address the 'poor-me' routine. First, some context. Fonda was on to promote a film about aging. For years she has spoken openly about her joy in giving a cultural face to older women."

"Well the truth is most older women look nothing like Fonda, who is now 80," she brutally concluded. "And if Fonda really wants to have an honest discussion about older women's cultural face, then her plastic surgery is tough to ignore."
