Meghan McCain Returning To 'The View' Over 1 Month After Father John's Death
Meghan McCain is getting back to work, over one month after she was forced to mourn the death of her beloved father, John McCain.
This Monday, the republican beauty took to Twitter to announce her return to The View following a weeks-long hiatus. "I will be getting back on the horse @TheView Monday October 8th. Thank you all for your patience & understanding," she wrote incuding a funny fan drawing of herself as well as an inspirational quote by Steve Benson.
"It's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard can you get hit and keep moving forward." (Thank you to Steve Benson & @azcentral for the pic)," added Meghan.

"Meghan is like a sister to me and this was the hardest thing she has ever been through," said Huntsman at the time. "Her dad was her best friend, her dad was everything. I was so proud of her—it was like her dad had passed the torch to her. She was now speaking for the family."
She also honored her friend's late father, calling him a hero who was "willing to give his life for this country."
Meghan, 33, broke down in tears various times in the days following the death of her father, 81.
U.S. Senator died one day after he discontinued treatment for his worsening brain cancer, but was honored in services all over the country.
He was put to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis after his family held a beautiful and intimate ceremony celebrating his life.
