They Do, Again! Mark Harmon & Wife Renew Wedding Vows At 'Intimate' Ceremony

From Mark Harmon suffering from a health crisis to dealing with the devastating loss of a close friend, the NCIS star has had a difficult year. But RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal Harmon is in a better place after celebrating his anniversary to wife Pam Dawber with a vow renewal ceremony.

“The ceremony was beautiful,” a source told RadarOnline.com of the March 21 event. “It was very intimate, very private and really reflected their relationship.”

The insider revealed 20 to 30 of the couple’s closest family and friends were in attendance to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary at their California home.

“Mark and Pam wrote their own vows and there was not a dry eye while they were being said,” the source said. “Mark and Pam spent the afternoon together afterwards, it was one of the few times Mark actually asked for a day off!”

The insider shared that the couple kept the affair casual, as he wore a suit without the jacket, while she stunned in a loose, summery dress.

“Pam and Mark had felt that they'd been through so much recently and without each other, they might not have gotten through it,” the source said. “They figured that now was as good a time as any!”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Harmon had a drastic weight loss after undergoing surgery on his knee a year ago.

“He isn’t sick,” the insider claimed. “Because of his tough rehabilitation, he has lost weight. But he’s doing great.”

Then in September 2016, Harmon lost friend and NCIS show runner Gary Glasberg at the age of 50.

“After the passing of Gary Glasberg, Mark was very much not himself,” the insider said. “He was obviously very devastated and was on edge pretty much the whole day I was there.”

What hurt Harmon most was that he 'never said ‘goodbye’” to his friend.

“Mark’s wife Pam said he almost didn’t speak a whole sentence for about two days after Gary died because he was in such disbelief and sadness,” the source spilled. “He wanted to be close to Pam, but didn’t want to talk about what happened.”
