Mariah Carey & Bryan Tanaka Split — Inside The Jealousy-Fueled Romance
Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have called it quits after five short months of dating, and RadarOnline.com has all the details on their relationship's rapid downward spiral.
Just last month, a source close to Carey told RadarOnline.com exclusively that she had been "blowing through millions of dollars on him" — and her friends and family were absolutely "terrified!"
As fans who follow Carey's outrageous life know, the mother of two began dating Tanaka after she split from her ex-fiance, 49-year-old billionaire James Packer.
And although it looked like love, a source close to Carey said the romance was very troubling.
"Mariah is blowing through millions of dollars on having fun with Bryan and her management team is extremely worried about it," said the insider at the time.
Last month, the couple headed to Dubai, where they spent the week skiing at an indoor ski resort. The source insisted that Carey paid for the entire trip! "She pays his rent, which is several thousand dollars a month, and she likes being his sugar mama because she knows that it will keep him coming back for more," said the source.

Then, Tanaka received a brand new set of wheels from Carey. "She leased him a brand new car, which is around several thousand dollars a month," the insider said.
According to reports, Tanaka's spending habits and expensive taste were just one problem in the tumultuous relationship. The couple's split also came after the dancer's jealousy over her relationship with ex-husband Nick Cannon exploded.
Tanaka reportedly felt "disrespected" when Carey and Cannon, 36, attended the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards with their twin children on March 11, and would "lash back" at Carey and her friendship with Cannon by flirting with other women.
