Heartbroken Maria: Menounos Contacted Pet Psychic To Talk To Dead Dog

Maria Menounos is finding it hard to sleep at night since losing her beloved dog Benjamin ten days ago, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively.

Menounos, 40, and her husband Kevin Undergaro, 50, made the decision to put down their 18 year old white Bichon because it was in so much pain. And to help make the dog’s passing easier on them all, she made the decision to snuggle Benny in bed and allow the vet to euthanize him in his favorite spot.

Problem is — Menounos has been so heartbroken that she can’t turn in at night without recalling the sad moment she lost her furry friend.

Maria told a pal, “I curl up in bed and pretend I’m holding him, and I cry like a baby. Maybe having him put to sleep in our bed wasn’t the best idea after all.”

Maria has been so upset since losing Benny, the last of her five original dogs, that she called on the help of a pet psychic to reach out to Benjamin and see if he’s okay.

“Maria contacted Danielle MacKinnon, a wellknown pet psychic,” says a source. “She was so distraught over Benjamin’s death that she had to find out how he was doing without her."

“Danielle contacted Benjamin on the other side and he said he was doing fine and that it was time for him to move on because he and Maria already taught each other the lessons they were meant to learn from each other.”

Menounos, who volunteers for the LA dog rescue Wags and Walks, says when she was growing up, her strict Greek mom would not allow her to have a dog, insisting dogs don’t belong indoors. So when she got a place of her own, she adopted five canine companions. She admits that while she loved all her dogs dearly, Benny was her favorite, and the last of her pet pals to sign off.
