The case against the man who was found with Rosie O'Donnell's daughter back in 2015, has been thrown out.
According to The Asbury Park Press, the charges of child endangerment and of distributing obscenity to a minor were dismissed this March.
RadarOnline.com readers know, comedienne Rosie O'Donnell, 56, reported her daughter, Chelsea O'Donnell, missing from their New York home on August 2015. The 17-year-old was found four days later, inside the attic of New Jersey resident Steven Sheerer, 28.
Steven had reportedly been communicating with Chelsea for weeks and had even sent her a nude photo of himself before meeting her inside his home.
The man's defense attorney, Robert Tarve, argued his client was innocent, since the teen had lied about her age when speaking to him on Tinder.
Robert was contacted by reporters earlier this week, and claimed he did not know the case had been dismissed. He said the last thing he knew was that prosecutors were pushing for a guilty plea against Steven.
