According to a source, the Material Girl is currently debating between throwing a lavish, over-the-top party in either Portugal or another exotic locale somewhere abroad.

“She’s once again keeping everyone in suspense,” the source noted. “Not one guest knows what the location or theme will be.”

While Madonna is still hammering out the details, once she finalizes her plans Madonna expects everyone attending to go big or go home.

“Each guest’s invite will have specific instructions on attire,” revealed the source, noting whoever has the best getup will earn a glamorous prize.

“Madonna is planning to gift the one partygoer with the most creative and thrilling costume a very expensive trip,” rumored to be an African getaway at one of the continent’s finest resorts, the source told RadarOnline.com.

And though Madonna has millions of fans around the world who would love to celebrate her big birthday with her, she’s only inviting between 60 and 75 guests to the landmark bacchanal.

According to the source, Madonna is deliberately keeping “everyone in the dark—save for the date and time.”

“Those doing the planning includes signing a strict non-disclosure agreement and most have been divided into groups so as not to chatter about their roles so no details get leaked before the party,” continued the source.
